This collection is divided into 4 series: Student Council, Student Senate, Student Activities Association and Student Government Association. Series 1: Student Council contains notes from the association’s meetings, receipts from their spending, and also discusses the Women’s Students Co-operative Association. Series 2: Student Senate contains the minutes from each meeting from 1938-1940, the policy book of the senate, and miscellaneous letters and awards given to the student senate. Series 3: Student Activities Association contains minutes from the activities association between 1963-1964. Series 4: Student Government Association contains minutes from the government associations meetings held in 1963-1964.

Abstract

The Student Government at West Chester University Collection is compiled of several West Chester University student organizations including student council, student senate, student activities association, and students’ government association. Within each association is the meeting minutes containing the individuals participating in the organizations and the information that was discussed at the meetings. These minutes give insight on the issues that West Chester University dealt with ranging roughly from 1925-1965.
