The West Chester University University College Collection features materials that highlight the University College's past course offerings and opportunities to West Chester University students and the general public. Biographical / Historical
West Chester University's University College was established as a program of the university, offering credit and non credit-bearing courses and workshops for students, WCU employees, and the general public for over 40 years.
However, University College was officially founded as the university's newest college in 2018. Its focus has expanded to offer an Interdisciplanary Studies Program and an Exploratory Studies program, as well as interdisciplinary minors. In addition, the University College also provides students with supplemental learning support through the Learning Assistance and Research Center, success coaching, the Academic Success Program, and the Writing Center.
University College is also home to departments such as the Office of Educational Accessibility, the RAM Initiative, and West Chester University's Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC).
