The West Chester University Student Government Association was first created in 1927 and the body was composed of women. In 1929, the student government was divided into two separate organizations known as the women’s student government association and the men’s student government association. The women’s student government contained the positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, high court, low court, quiet committee, lobby committee, repairs committee, specials committee, and councilors. The men’s student government was composed of only a president, secretary, treasurer, and councilors
