Marion Farnham (1887-1983) was an art professor at West Chester University from 1923-1952.  Miss Farnham aided in the production of the Serpentine Yearbooks, as a result this collection contains yearbooks autographed by students and faculty members.

Abstract Robert B. Gordon (1901-1981) was born in Erie, Pennsylvania. After a short career as an optician and optometrist, he returned to The Ohio State University and earned a Ph. D. in botany (1931). Gordon taught botany and environmental science at universities and nature centers for more than forty years. Charlotte E. King (1922-1993) was a professor of elementary education at West Chester University from 1955 to 1983; she was named professor emeritus in 1984.  This collection includes materials that accompanied King in her career, including her essays, awards, speeches, newspaper articles, correspondence, tapes, and photographs.
