- Existence: 1925-1933
The West Chester University Student Council began in the late 1920's and was originally created to have two main organizations known as the Men's Day Student Council and the Men's Dormitory Student Council. The purpose of the day student council according to The Serpentine, the student yearbook, was to "establish a friendly relationship among day student men, to preserve order through setting up and enforcing standards of conduct for men not living in Wayne Hall." The Men's Dormitory Student Council on the other hand was created with the purpose to "enforce the rules set up by the administration and the council; to attempt to better the living conditions of the dormitory men, and to make life in Wayne hall pleasant and happy." Both student council's held the positions for officers and advisors.
