Abstract Elmer E. Unger (1889-1991) was a physical education instructor in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania areas from 1915-1946.  One of his daughters, Josephine Unger, was a librarian at West Chester State Teachers College.  This collection includes materials Unger used throughout his career, including course guidelines, notes, and various exercises implemented in his curriculum.

Overview The West Chester University Valkyrie Club Collection includes memorabilia and photographs from the Valkyrie Club, a service learning club comprised of Health and Physical Education students. Materials range in date from 1928 to 2012, with the majority being from 1928-1973.
